I think that looks great - much easier to view. Good work.

I'm ok with it. The only thing that bugs me is the round part on the back with just the mesh covering it. something about that make me fell like thats too exposed.

Yeah, I can see that. The classic pack has the bundle of exposed ribbon cabling; really the animated packs are the "safest" looking. I guess it wouldn't be hard to revise that a little bit, if we really wanted to.

Well I keep thinking dirt can get in there and isn’t that were most of the radiation comes from ? Fritz wrote: jason knetge wrote: I'm ok with it. I always thought the packs looked like in the end they should have some casing to protect the ribbon cabling. something that pops on and off for repairs. The packs in the first fill were just the pro to times. something that they posed together in a rush and on a budget. If they ever when into mass production and franchised. I would have guess that would have had covers. you also make a point. I guess they sort of did that with the RGB and EGB packs.

you also make a point. I guess they sort of did that with the RGB and EGB packs. Dan Schoening attempted to streamline the look in early issues of the comic series, but there were lots of complaints so he went back to a more movie-accurate look and they passed off the streamlined packs as "experimental cooling covers". There was also a strong drive for movie-accurate props in GBI when I started there, so even though I proposed the Mark 4 pack I pretty much said "it looks exactly like the movie packs". (I did keep the RGB "retrofit" of the trap attachment, though.) I guess deep down I "really" think of them as having movie nutrona wands on more RGB-looking packs. Probably the best "fix" for the PP-16 would be a more substantive cover for the cyclotron. Something to consider if we do adopt it as the basis of the GBOT fanon Mark 5.

I've done some drawings of the new equipment from the upcoming Ghostbusters 2016 reboot, so it's past time I did some characters. First up is Dr. Abigail L. ("Abby") Yates, played by Melissa McCarthy (who is in just about every movie Paul Feig directs, it seems lol) I'm the first to admit that when it comes to trying to draw real people, I'm a caricaturist at best, but I hope maybe it's as close as the character designs 88MPH (spits at Sebastien Clavet) and IDW have been using the last dozen years--close enough to be recognizable if not exact (and run afoul of Bill Murray's lawyer lol)

Looks good, Fritz. Really. It's kind of growing on me too.
