okay, its a LITTLE late for this, but why not? it's 11:30, i've nothing better to do... Hi yall! Most of you know me as either "Agent K" or "Princess Orchesis" but my name is actually Kristianna (hence the K). Most ppl just call me Anna. I've been a GIIIIIIIINORMOUSSSSSS GB fan since, quite literally, birth. I was born in October of 1989, and my mom liked the movies, so I was raised on classic comedy! If no one could guess, I'm a southern gal. My home is in LOVELY suffolk, virginia. It's a beautiful place, very quiet, save for the occasional tornado. I'm also of French descent. I speak it. I'll give yall some French to wrap this mofo up: Mon nom est Anna, et je n'ai pas peur de spectres! oh and by the way, FRITZ, you still havent answered my question: am i or am i not the youngest? im trying to prove a point to my mom.

I really don't know for sure. Not everybody fills out their birthday box, and there isn't a setting that lets me sort them by birthday order. We did have an eleven year old sign up at our old board a few years ago, but I had to delete his account because the host doesn't allow users under 13. It was long ago he'd be old enough to sign up if he wanted to, but as far as I can tell hasn't.

*cough* I was told that posting an intro here would be a good idea, so here goes. I'm Arafel; it's been my screen name for close to 20 years. I am an old fart who watched the show when she was a kid and only recently discovered the joy and wonder of episodes on Youtube. (Having those DVD releases would be sweet.) I was shipping E/J before I knew what shipping was, and it's probably a good thing there were no Internets in those days, or there would be more badfic in the world. I'm an on-again, off-again fanficcer, IRL I'm a chemist, and I have a LiveJournal if anyone else wants to swap usernames. http://arafel.livejournal.comNice to meet you all.

Again, welcome to the nut house. The "mythos" (you mention it in another thread) is probably a bit deep here, and will probably be changing some next year after we process the new video game (How much is the hot topic for debate "behind the scenes") but fortunately, there's a couple of quick guidelines: 1. It's probably best to pick one way of reading the stories and stick with it until you catch up. Mine are arranged here in either chronological order (the order they occur in) or order of release (That page is reverse order, from bottom to top) 2. Shorthands are available at the Fan Fic Timeline and the Ghostbusters New York pages. These may be helpful if you're lost about something 3. Don't be afraid to ask questions.

That's why 80's fandoms like Ghostbusters are great. Fritz wrote: The "mythos" (you mention it in another thread) is probably a bit deep here, and will probably be changing some next year after we process the new video game (How much is the hot topic for debate "behind the scenes") Can I ask: is there a general expectation that fanfics will fit into your expanded storyline? Thanks muchly for the fact lists, though - they were extraordinarily helpful. Maybe it's force of habit from being a scientist, but I can't turn out a piece of fanfic without making sure it's been extensively researched. This site made the process a whoooole lot easier.

And I guess I should say a little about myself...
I currently live in Tallahassee, Fl and I attend Florida State University as a 6 year super senior low life jerkface constantly pushing graduation further and further away, lol. I am a studio art major, and by the time I am done with school I will have minors in art history, history, and Japanese as well.
I was born and bred in the Easter pink art deco bullshit Magic City, (Miami, Fl if you're wondering what magic city I'm talking about) which is why living in the "dirty south" does not agree with me at times.
When not in school I am a waitress and bartender at a small mom and pop Italian restaurant run by old world, ex-communist Albanians. I also like hanging out with my friends, smoking dope and getting drunk on liquor.

Welcome to the board. Since it was EGB fanfiction you wrote, I'm assuming you're in my corner where that's concerned.
