Not saying I won't have a new story done by the end of the year (but not saying I definitely will either), but if it is it won't be very Christmasy. So here's the Ectozone Christmas story backlist:

Ghostbusters: Mr. Stay Puft's Christmas Adventure
December 24, 1983--Timeline Year One
It's Christmas Eve. Venkman's in a foul mood. Ray misses his family. Egon is not sure how to react to Janine's elf costume. Winston has a fateful meeting. And then the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man shows up. Wait, what? How is that even possible?

It took longer than expected (I know, I say that a lot) but here it is: the conclusion of "Love Songs". If you've been following the story begun in "Enlightenment", and are familiar with pretty much any story I've done taking place after the turn of the millenium, I think you know what this one is going to be about:

Ghostbusters: Love Songs--Blessed
July 26, 1996--Timeline Year Fourteen
First Ray and Liz were rivals. Then they were allies. Then they were friends. Then they were lovers. A year ago they became spouses. Now a new challenge awaits them, as Ray and Liz become parents.

I think there's still going to be a surprise or two, including the resolution of a minor mystery that's been lingering around since Liz's "present day" debut back in "Chronicles of Gozer"

I hope you'll give it a look.

So GenCon 2018 has been and gone, so you know what that means...

Yes, time for me to show up some of the crap I bought!!!

The stuffed owlbear seen above along with the GenCon commemorative dice sets, a miniature TARDIS from Gale Force Nine, and a red Haro from the Gundam franchise.

Another big year for 13th Age, though not what I was expecting. There's a big crossover/expansion with the world of Runequest that's supposed to be out any time now; I was somehow mislead to believe it would be out for GenCon. Ah well...

R. Talsorian reprinted their mecha game Mekton Zeta; Ogre and I got that book when it was originally printed in the 1990's, but it seems to have vanished over the years. Now we have a fresh new copy. Leave it to me to finally pick up the Pathfinder core book when the second edition is now playtesting. The dungeon tiles will be neat if/when Ogre and I can get a game up and going again. Darn all our players for having real lives and stuff.

Pointy Hat Games debuted an expansion. They even had a new mascot to tell us all about it!

He definitely upped their attention. So what about that expansion?

Aw, Vince, dude...you put in the Platinum Dragon and I'm there even if I didn't know you.

August 1 2019 seems too far away right now.

AS for Ectozone business, the conclusion of "Love Songs" is well under way. Expect news soon.

Holy crap. The Ectozone is fifteen years old today.

Man I feel old now. If this website was a person, it'd be bugging me to teach it how to drive now.

I'm not going to regale you with maudlin recollections this time--you can easily go to the archive page for that--but hey...look! I have something new today too!

Extreme Ghostbusters: Coda and Terchi's Extreme Adventure, Part Three
March 1998--Timeline Year Sixteen
The showdown is on! The Ghostbusters versus Anthal-Noje, with the life of Coda hanging in the balance!!!

Bonus: Take a look at the Villains Gallery page to get a look a the monster seen in this story.

Ghostbusters: Love Songs--Inspiration
May 28, 1995--Timeline Year Thirteen
The Wedding of Ray Stantz and Liz Hawthorne

It's not the end of "Love Songs", though. There's one more chapter to go. I think longtime readers can figure out what that's going to be about.

Fifteen years?!

Wow...how far I've come since then...

GBWC.net. Gigs adminning or modding at Still Playing With Toys, GBCentral, Ghostbusters International, and GB Fans.

More importantly, tons and tons of friends I never would have met if not for four guys and one gal in snazzy flight suits and laser backpacks.

Thanks everybody for fifteen great years.

I'm not going to talk about the ways 2017 sucked, we all know the biggest reason--it starts with a "T" and rhymes with "Dump"--but instead try to look forward.

I'm at work on "Love Songs--Inspiration", which will feature the wedding of Ray Stantz and Liz Hawthorne.

I'm pretty sure it will not be another year until part three of "Coda And Terchi's Extreme Adventure" is out.

If the Ghostbusters comics from IDW continue the course they're on now, with constant interdimensional crossovers and not enough attention paid to the original Ghostbusters. I'll be saving some money after "Crossing Over", which sounds a lot like the embodiment of everything I think's gone wrong with the book for the last three years.

And if you haven't checked out Rosey and Jake Collins' The Riveras I really recommend you so do.

Have a safe and happy Twenty-Eighth Year of the Age of Aquarius
