Welp, my computer's hard drive shit it's pants last night, so I may not be on much until I get a new computer.
I'm very fastidious about backing everything up, so like the last time I lost a computer six years ago I won't have lost very much, pretty much just anything I did yesterday.

Small update: Following a suggestion I found online, after the ailing device was left turned off for over six hours, I was able to fire it up and retrieve the stuff I did yesterday. I tried to log out and then backup Ogre's bookmarks, but by then tHe thing was starting to glitch up again. I shut it back down and will probably try again tomorrow morning. (Ogre is not nearly as fastidious as I am about bakcin stuff up)
We've also gone ahead and took some of our Gen Con money and ordered a replacement. It's another refurbished desktop that's years old, but we got six years out of the last one, and it's a hell of a lot cheaper than new.

I just finished "The Monster of Lungbarrow, Part Two" this story's kind of grown in the telling; I'd originally planned for three chapters, now I'm pretty sure it'll be four--even with the longer chapters I've been trying to write lately.
As soon as Ogre looks it over I'll send it to the betas. Depending on reaction, I may push it a little and put it out on Tuesday, October 31st. Seems like a good day for a Ghostbusters story.

About a month later than I'd hoped, but "The Monster of Lungbarrow" is complete.
I'll be sending the betas out within the next day or two.
Planned release is February 29th. I usually release on Tuesdays, but I just like the idea of having SOMETHING out on a day that only happens every four years.

Just finished part two of "The Sign of the Twins"
Will send it to the betas in a day or two as soon as Ogre takes a look at it.
Shooting for a Halloween week release; whether that will be October 29 (since I usually release on Tuesday) or Halloween itself (a Thursday) I haven't decided yet.

Okay, I think it's time to ask: is Ogre taking more than usually long over this one, or has something gone awry?

Yeah, we ran into a snag or two being in the same place at the same time, but he read it this evening and I'll be sending the beta links tomorrow morning (US time)
