Okay, I think I know mine, anyone else have one?

This is for the best laugh out loud moments, one liners, odd situations, etc.

I would have to say that my fav is:

Look Homeward, Ray

I know that may surprise some people, given my E/J favoritism, but it really is a hilarious ep, full of great one liners.

Like you, my choice is conspicuously absent of Egon/Janine stuff. She only appears in one scene and, if I recall correctly, doensn't even have any lines.

"Chicken, He Clucked" by JMS

First of all, I thought the entire scenario of the episode was the most surreal of the series: a pathetic little man is driven insane by the smell of fried chicken (he lives above a fried chicken franchise) and sells his soul to a demon to get rid of all the chickens in the world. The demon is so mortified he actually gets the Ghostbusters help in tricking the guy into bringing back the chickens so he can break the pact.

I thought it was the best effort of the entire series into plugging into the zeitgeist of the movie, where a world-stomping demon is conjured up in the form of a smiling cartoon character.

And so many great lines

--The wierd chick at the library hits on Egon. "Essence of fungus. You like it?'

--Egon when meeting Cubby: "He clearly evolved from the shallow end of the gene pool." (The first place I ever heard it, anyway.)

--The goofy little imp Morgannon is saddled with, which continuously giggles with glee at the demon's predicament. The best part is while Morgannon is talking to the Ghostbusters, the imp is laughing his head off and Morgannon offhandedly conjures up a rock and drops it on him.

--The demons taunting Morgannon. Something like "The Boss'd ask you to do this one, but the King of Rubania doesn't have feathers!"

--This quote from TV.com:
Demon: You may be a pain in the neck to my kind most of the time. But this time, I owe you one. See you around ... Well ONE of you anyway.
Peter: Why does everyone always stare at me when someone says something like that?
Egon, Ray, Winston: NO COMMENT!

There were more exciting episodes, but this one was, to me, the humor angle at it's best.

There's so many funny moments in each episode, it's hard to choose. So I choose "Apocalypse...What NOW?!?!" because it has the moments that cracked me up the most.

Ray: Sneezy[Refering To Peter] here spent all the money.
Peter: That's Mr. Sneezy to you.

The President calling the Ghostbusters and Janine telling him to hold.

The random Stay Puft Marshmallow ad with Mr. Stay Puft. I don't know why, maybe the movie reference.

Winston: Are you all right, father?
Greek Priest: Yes, my son.
Peter: I just love these father-son moments.

The scene when the Greek Priest kisses the ground after the plane lands to Greece. Winston starts kissing the ground, then the plane falls apart

Egon: That's so brilliant, it's simple.
Ray: More like it's so simple, it's brilliant.

Egon: Peter, the seal! The seal impression!
Peter: ***DOES SEAL NOISES***
Egon: No, not an impression of a seal, the seal impression!

I can't pinpoint just one episode because there were hilarious lines in so many of them.

One in particular that I always laughed at was in "Mrs. Roger Neighborhood" right after the guys approach the closet and all that is in there is Mrs. Rogers Dress

Winston: "You don't mean that..."
Ray: "...Mrs. Roger's Dress is What?"
Egon: "No, Ray! Mrs. Rogers is What!"

I just cracked up at that.

Ray, you gotta love him!

You gotta love the spin on the Abbot & Costello "Who Is On First" routine!

I totally agree. Consistently funny all the way through. For example:

*Peter's egotistical dream

*Egon's line: "If you managed to get your glands active before high noon"...still waiting on a time to use that on my class!

*The over-acting of the devil is priceless! And he had some fantastic lines too... "Truuuuuly, pa-thet-ic"

*Winston: "I sold my soul to the devil. I sold my soul to the devil." then..."I sold my soul to a minor demon. I sold my soul to a minor demon"

*Great confessions by the guys, and Egons reaction to Ray's confession has my roflmao EVERY time!!!

There are some other really humourous episodes but that one really was funny throughout!!!

I for whatever reason found "The haunting of heck house" to be very funny.

Winston and slimer at the end when the ghosts are all coming downstairs to get them, was so funny.

Winston: How much longer?

Peter: What did you see Winston?

Winston: How Much Longer?
