I noticed that in the notes for the RGB DVD set that it says something about "a special double-length alternate episode" ...anybody know what this is?

For all we know, it means they have the double-length, original version of the clip episode "Deja Boo" and the half-hour version they showed later.

I hope it's something more interesting that that, though.

Why was Deja Boo ever an hour long? Was is some sort of special?

I am so exctied about this DVD! I can't wait until November, I will be gleefully waiting on the mail all month,

Did anyone buy more than one set, or thought about it? I thought about it in case something happened to my first copy, I am not sure that it will be available through timelife indefinately, unless they decide to put it out retail later. I am tempted to stay home from work to watch at least the extras. On spook central I found out that JMS and Kathy are going to talk about Janine, You've changed, in a room together, that orta be fun to see.

I am really surprised that no one seems stoked about this, I am I've been living off youtube for a long time, my tapes went bad 4 years ago.

Oh, I'm stoked. I'm moving the first week of November, so this DVD set will be the first thing I buy for the new apartment. New furniture, what's that? *shrugs*

This is the only Ghostbuster thing lately that I am excited about. Unfortunately, I don't have the money right now to get it. I'd dropped some money I'd scraped together on some RPG books just before this was announced...I love the books dearly, but if I'd known this was going to happen :sigh:

I just think most of the community is more interested in the video game and the latest round of GB3 rumors.

I don't even remember Deja Boo. But then again, I'm not really a fan of clip episodes.

This DVD set is yet another reason I wish I had a little extra disposable income lying around.......

*squeals with delight* really? I went to spook central, couldn't find any info on that...could you post a direct link please?

This has been what we've been waiting for for a long time people...not to mention all the extras are the icing on the cake...I haven't ordered yet as I have a new home I'm trying to fix up but it's on my to-do list...I can't wait to hear everyone's observations and insights!!!

As for not being able to afford it...that's what credit cards are for...and I think this qualifies as a class-four emergency

Well, yeah, but the problem with credit cards is that eventually those darn banks want their money back.

I'm in the same boat. However, I am very excited for those who can afford it. :) I will get mine...eventually. ;)

I really can't afford it right now, either, but the hubby said if I wanted it, then it's my Christmas present. I said fine, then yours is your 2009 SFA season pass. Works out for both of us.
