OMG! I just saw the comentary for "Egon on the Rampage" and I nearly fell out on the floor! Maurice and Laura were on there and they were just randomly flirting with each other in Egon and Janine voices and I thought I was gonna die! LOL. I can live off that for a week.

In other news Fritz has finally chosen the 7-11 around the corner from his house to rob for the money to get this set, lol.

I'll try to write out what they said when I have more time. Terrible teaser I know.

Yeah, the two were obviously having a good time doing the commentary. Total geekgasm when that happened.

Ok I'm going to try and put on here all of the delightful things they said as E/J. It might not make sense, they were talking randomly and at the same time a lot. L=laura, M=maurice, when they are talking as E/J. Maurice said everything very very flat and very deadpan Egon it was hilarious.

Intro- Someone said something aboutJanine in the intro:

L:I was very glamorous
M:You are very glamorous, especially with slime all over you.
L:Thanks! Egon
M:It's your best look
L:Yea
M:I don't have to hold back now because now the show is over and I can confess my feelings for you.
L:Did you really feel that way?
M: I felt deeply, deeply affectionate towards you.
L:I knew it!
M:Can't you tell?
L: Yea
M: I feel deeply affectionate right now.

Egon's first appearance in show
Someone says , And here's Egon making an appearance
L:Isn't he wonderful
M:Why thank you, I especially look good in white with gold buttons on my chest
--someone else: you almost look like a storm trooper
L: It's very sexy
M:Thank you, I always take tremendous precautions in my work

And then Maurice started saying Egon looked fat in the suit and then Laura said something about him having a cute butt in the suit when he turned around, lol

The conversation eventually turned towards GB2. Something about treating every show being a potential sequal to the movie, and how when they got ready to make GB2 Maurice said that he wondered what in the world they were going to write about and hadn't they done every potential permutation of the story, and where else could they go with it since they had done 82 eps about the next thing that happened then Laura said:

L:Well, Janine and Egon shoulda had a baby (in GB2)
M: Now there's something we should have explored

(from there mouths to your ears huh Fritz, lol)

Towards the end of the ep, right before Peter snatches the flat Egon from under the one footed thing, shot where Janine is holding the rope.

Someone says: and there you are again in the background
L:I'm back there? What am I doing?
M:Looking very hot if I may say so...
L:In my little short skirt
M:...or as the kids say these days...
L:Oh Egon!
M:...If I'm not being too forward my dear

Then when Peter rolls Egon up and Janine pulls them through Laura says about Egon being rolled up:
L:Oh no! Look at Egon, Are you being hurt there?
M:Oh no. It's extraordinarilly pleasurable

Then when Peter kissed Janine

Someone says: You got a kiss from him but what about Egon?
M: Well, I'm afraid I was a little limp at the moment

(I'm not going to interpret that, I just thought I'd include it, lol)

Also, I was looking at the guide book and it had a piece of trivia in it I thought Fritz would like:
"The Headless Motorcyclist"
Trivia-Egon suggests reversing the polarity of the neutron flow, a phrase originating from the TV show Doctor Who.

Did you know that? I am almost sure you did, but I thought I'd throw it out there anyway.

Yeah. I think I heard it in a Jon Pertwee (The Third Doctor, and visual inspiration for Professor Epimetheus) story. "Inferno" maybe? I think RGB used the phrase more than once, and (I wouldn't swear to it in a court of law) JMS used it in Babylon 5 at least once.

Yeah, Jon Pertwee used it a lot. It was actually Doc3's "catch phrase". I heard it on RGB first, though, I think...

Finally proof that something's really wrong with us Fritz, You're favorite episode had everyone asking JMS if he was alright, One of my favorite episodes, "Doctor, Doctor" begins with a JMS intro which basically says that if you like this one you should go ahead and call 911 right now because you have issues, lol.

See, now I like that one too. Admittedly, I didn't the first time I saw it...but after a couple of repeat viewings it grew on me.

LOVING IT!!!!!!!!!!!

Dammit even the actors wanted Egon and Janine to get it on...what was WRONG with those GB2 writers?

And buckle me in a straitjacket and zip me over to the funny farm...I loved Doctor Doctor too! :)

That'll be great for fans who can't afford to plunk down $200 at once, and don't mind missing the extra bonus disk (Heck, if you're really really cheap, you could skip the last set because it's mostly Slimer! cartoons and the dregs of the series)

More importantly, having something going to mass retailers will sell a lot more than a Time-Life only exclusive will.

Me, I'm still hoping Christmas will see me in a financial position to drop the $200 or so. I've saved up about half that already.

Fritz, you know you can choose a pay plan with time life don't you? I set mine up for 29.99 for 5 months. If you can buy the store ones at 40 you may as well buy the set from time life. Something to think about anyway.

That's good to know. I'm in the whole "I'm broke" situation myself.
