Post subject:  Your Favorite Version of the "Ghostbusters" Theme
Hey hey, everybody! I just arrived here at the Ectozone forums, and I figured I'd start my time here off with a nifty little poll for all to enjoy. ^_^

Anyway, the purpose of the poll should be pretty obvious: what version of the famous "Ghostbusters" themesong is your favorite? Personally, I like the RGB version most myself; I know, I know, it's practically the same as the original version(which I love too), but the stronger bassline and more rocking instrumentals really enhance the song for me. Of course, that's just MY opinion; what's YOURS?

For the purposes of the poll, I'm limiting the options to the five official versions used throughout the franchise's history, but if you know of a fan-made remix, like the notorious "Ghostbusters Vs. Michael Jackson" mix, feel free to mention it. :)

Also, I put this here because 3/5ths of the options are from the cartoon series. If the mods feel this should be in another section, feel free to move it.

I have to vote for The Real Ghostbusters version that was always my favorite. :D

How do I always end up voting differently from everybody else?

Though the RGB theme runs a close second (being almost identical), it's Ray Parker Jr. for me.

I think people will be surprised you didn't say "The Extreme Ghostbusters version" :lol:

I ended up voting for Ray Parker Jr.'s. The reason they've all been good is because they had that great original version to work off of. I'm not saying it couldn't be f***ed up--I'm sure if a shit band like Limp Bizkit got ahold of it it'd sound like shit--but so far all of the offiicial versions have been good.

It's the RGB theme for me.
Then the Ray Parker Jr. version.
Then EGB's (that one rocked).
Then the Run DMC one.
Then the Slimer! and the Real Ghostbusters version. (I thought that one was awful after the original RGB version).

I voted for The Real Ghostbusters theme just an eyelash over Ray Parker Jr's version. :D
