I just saw today some photos online of some of the new ghostbusters toys from Hasbro. some of the stuff looks promising. Also, I'm not 100% sure but it looked like we might get the old 80 Kener RGB toys too. old blister cards and all.
man i really hope this is true.

If true that will be awesome.

EDIT: As someone on GBFans pointed out, those are definitely newly made because they fixed Winston's name. He was referred to as "Zeddmore" instead of "Zeddemore" in all the original RGB packaging.

Just as a note, as yet nothing specific to GB:A has been revealed yet; the only thing we've seen alluding to it is that the ECTO-1 toy has the jump seat.

It's neat that the RGB boxes even have the Kenner logo; Hasbro bought Kenner in the Nineties, and has dragged the ol' logo out sometimes for retro-themed Star Wars lines (Kenner was the original Star Wars licensee), and this totally fits.

well, Hasbro does have the nickname cashbro and nostalgia is a hell of a drug. if they were to make them I think thats easy money for them right there.

My only small disappointment at the moment is that they didn't take the opportunity to use the Power Pack Heroes mold for Janine to make a "proper" fight suit version in the style of the Series 1. Even if they put her in the terrible pink flight suit.

The "Fright Features" movie figures I admit I'm interested, but whether I buy them or not will depend on if they're as "compatible" (ie about the same size) with the RGB figures as they look.

from the sound of it, I think they are going to be 5" which should be about right

I was just thinking about that before I came on. I think if the line dues well they might do that. especially if the fans demanded it. I think I would like her in the wight flight to suit my self.

I would want them to make some more of the RGB ghosts,. I would love to have hob or blackie.

I was only going to pre-order Egon, but said the heck with it and ordered all 6. And I agree-we need Janine. Now-do I open 'em up and play with 'em or leave them unsullied and unopened?

I don't do this very often, but I'm contemplating getting two of each for just that reason.

I was going to order them but by the time I got home, I was only able to get Winston online. I'm sure they will make more of them. and i want to get 2 of them as well.

I really want to get some in the store. I was really young when they came out in the 80. most of them were given to me as gifts. so I wanted the experience of hunting them down my self, holding them in my hand and what not. :)

Following the success of last year's Kenner Classics Real Ghostbusters toy reissues, Hasbro have unveiled their 2021 expansion of the range, bringing back some fan-favourites which are sure to provoke a lot of excitement:

•Kenner Classics Ecto-1: $50
•Kenner Classics Bug-Eye Ghost: $15
•Kenner Classics Fearsome Flush: $15

Like the previous release of figures, these will be an exclusive with Walmart in the United States (though it's likely that Forbidden Planet and Zavvi in the UK will stock these like they did with the 2020 release). The Ecto-1 and figures are scheduled for release in April, while pre-orders will be available from the 15th of March 1:00pm ET / 10:00am PT.

I missed Fearsome Flush back in the day, because I thought it was a shitty idea.

But hell yeah I'm buying that crap now!!!

A friend of mine recently started as a Hasbro merchandiser. Today he sent me pictures of the "Fright Features (2021)" line--Kenner-esque versions of the original Ghostbusters that sorta look like the movie actors, as well as Slimer, Muncher, and Mr. Stay Puft.

Not anything we hadn't already seen on GBFans and other places, but this means that they're hitting the store shelves pretty much any time now.
