I love writing song parodies, so here's a parody of "Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer". It's meant to be being sung by Ray at the beginning of the movie as he's telling Venkman about the library ghost.

Alice got scared senseless by a spirit
At the library; I don't deceive!
You can say there's no such thing as spectres,
But as for me and Egon, we believe

She was walking through the bookshelves
It seemed like a normal day
But then a ghost appeared and shushed her
Then she roared and scared the hapless dame away
Then when Egon took a reading
At the scene where it took place
He got numbers that were soaring!
Why I almost saw excitement on his face!

Alice got scared senseless by a spirit
At the library; I don't deceive!
You can say there's no such thing as spectres,
But as for me and Egon, we believe

Now, I'm really proud of Egon
He's been thinking all this through
See him writing on his notepad
Drinking coke and planning our next thing to do
He thinks we should go back pronto
And see if the ghost's still there
And we just can't help but wonder
Will we catch that spooky ghost
Or run in fear? (Venkman: Run in fear!)

Now, we're packing our equipment
To check that library out
We've brought all our pens and notebooks
And we'll look and see just what made Alice shout
